Environmental Monitoring and Audit (EM&A) practice had been implemented in this Project. Samples, measurements and necessary remedial actions have been taken in accordance with the requirements of the updated EM&A Manual by (1) conducting baseline environmental monitoring; (2) conducting impact monitoring; (3) carrying out remedial actions described in the Event/Action Plans of the updated EM&A Manual in accordance with the time frames set out in the Event/Action Plans, or as agreed by the Director, in case where specified criteria in the updated EM&A Manual are exceeded; and (4) logging and keeping records of details of all parameters within 3 working days of the collection of data or completion of remedial action(s), for the purpose of preparing and submitting the monthly EM&A Reports and to make available for inspection on site.
