The project team organized sharing programme on career planning for 159 Form 3 students from Caritas Fanling Chan Chun Ha Secondary School before the summer holidays in July 2023.

The project team introduced the project works of KTN FLN NDA (First Phase) in the beginning to let the students more understand about the development of the community. Members of the project team then shared with students their personal development and working experiences in six professional disciplines, including civil engineering, land surveying, quantity surveying, environmental management, electrical and mechanical engineering, and landscape architecture, encouraging them to emphasize on experience over academic qualifications. The team members also shared with students tips on further studies and career pathways of their respective professional disciplines, so as to enable students to make early preparations for their career planning. In addition, the project team explained to the students some of the prejudices and fallacies towards the field of engineering, so that they could have a better understanding of the construction industry and the engineering sector.
