Members from the North District Secondary School Headmasters Conference were invited to a site visit at the Fanling North New Development Area (Phase 1) where the construction works of the Fanling Bypass Eastern Section is in progress. The project team introduced the works of the New Development Area Project and the smart site applications that are widely adopted. Participants were introduced to the driving simulation of the future road network and on-site Augmented Reality (AR) that merges the BIM model into the physical site.  

By understanding the construction of the local developments and the working opportunities provided in mega projects, teachers will be more at ease in inspiring students to discover interests in construction industry.
